Beginning Monday, November 22nd, Hillsdale Huskies will be taking part in a food drive, with all donations going to support the Elmvale & District Food Bank.
In order to prepare the Holiday Hampers which go out into the community, the Food Bank has given us a list of items they use to fill them. We thought it would be fun to use the theme “12 Days of Giving” and each day feature an item that has been requested.
Please note this is only a suggestion of items to send. The food bank is appreciative and grateful for all non-perishable food item donations. We will accept any non-perishable items for donation during the “12 Days of Giving”. We are grateful for your support of our community.
We look forward to supporting the food bank during the 2021-2022 Holiday Season!
Day 1 (November 22) Dish Soap
Day 2 (November 23) Juice
Day 3 (November 24) Turkey Gravy
Day 4 (November 25) Canned Vegetables
Day 5 (November 26) Pasta (canned or bag)
Day 6 (November 29) Cake & Cookie mix
Day 7 (November 30) Canned Potatoes
Day 8 (December 1) Paper products - Toilet Paper, Paper Towel, Kleenex
Day 9 (December 2) Breakfast - Cereals, Oatmeal, etc.
Day 10 (December 3) Boxed Potatoes, Stuffing, Kraft Dinner
Day 11 (December 6) Canned goods -Soups, Cranberry Sauce, Beans, etc.
Day 12 (December 7) Huskies choice!
