Grade 8 Celebration on June 28, 2016 8 Celebration on June 28, 2016
It's hard to believe that we're drawing closer to the grade 8 celebration, which will be on June 28th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.. We are so very proud of our students and excited about all the wonderful ways they will change our world for the better. It will be moving to see the class of 2016 in their regal black gowns crossing the stage! Parents, families and friends--congratulations on taking the time, care and detail to be the support and guides for these remarkable young students! It truly takes a village (of Hillsdale) to raise a child.

Eat Well from Home Well from HomeAs we come to a close to this academic year, our "Eat Well" food supplies are now depleted. Please make certain that sufficient snacks and healthy food items are now being sent with all students--All this wonderful fresh air and weather certainly increases the appetite! Thanks to all our Eat Well volunteers for assisting in this great program.
Going, Going....GONE!, Going....GONE!
Attention, Parents and Students---we are clearing our "lost and found" items, and donating the remains to "Bags to School" by May 25th. Please come and claim what is yours--we'd love to see the items go back home. Remember to LABEL all items, so that they can be easily returned--

Helping our Friends! our Friends!
<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"calibri",sans-serif;color:black;">Would you like to help Fort MacMurray? Ms. Manuge and the grade 4 students are collecting TRAVEL size items to send to help the people affected by the fire disasters (shampoo, soaps, toothbrush, toothpaste etc.) Thousands of evacuees are stopping at Emergency Rescue stations, and these items are needed! Please send any donations you have to the library and we will send them over to Alberta. Thanks for your help, Hillsdale

"Cross Walk Talks...""Cross Walk Talks..."
Dear Student, Parents and Guardians,

Please note that having our cross walk crossing guard is such a gift. Unfortunately, we have students crossing dangerously at the store intersection and also during unpatrolled times.

In order to ensure your safety, make certain that the cross over on Hwy 93 occurs during the right time (first recess, before and after school) and intersection (Albert St. and Hwy 93).

As always, a huge shout out to our wonderful Ms. Lynne Wright, for caring so much about us and being an essential part of our community of learning.
